Omi Museum

A museum and visitors’ center for The Fields Sculpture Park at Omi has been designed for a hilly, exposed site in upstate New York. A defining feature of the project will be delicate ribbon banding of stone veneer over a curtain wall glazing system. The composition of stone screens, stone walls and clear glazed openings will create a provocative entry portal to an internationally recognized sculpture park. The gently sloped roof of clerestory windows will mimic the surrounding topography.
