ft designed a new museum project for a growing arts institution. The project includes a gallery, an education center, cafe and comfort facilities. The design integrates the building with the landscape by placing it within a hollow between two hillocks, forming a “land bridge” spanning the valley. A roof deck, accessed by an expansive theatrical ramp is accessible for the installation of sculptures and the wing-like skylight element gives the building a gently sloping form imitative of the surrounding landscape.
