This house project overlooks a reservoir in the distance. The home has clean, contemporary and very large scaled volumes on the interior, with an entrance corridor soaring almost 30’ overhead. These grand spaces combined with other, more intimately scaled volumes, create a compelling range of experiences for the client.
The expression on the exterior is one of a simple barn and farmhouse. The structure is sheathed in vertical standing seam interlocking copper panels which pay homage to simple board and batten siding found on most vernacular farm buildings.
