The Fields Sculpture Park is designed and curated by Peter Franck + Kathleen Triem, of ft. The Fields is continuously evolving as a designed environment in nature.
Through evolving planting patterns, paths through woods and around a bog as well as numerous open meadows have been brought to play in order to give a carefully crafted experience of viewing art and the landscape.
An impressive array of works have been installed representing important contemporary artists including Carl Andre, Tony Cragg, Olafur Elliason, Magdalena Abakanowicz and Dennis Oppenheim. Specially curated shows including a four-part series entitled “Ignoring Boundaries.”
The project of running The Fields has proven to be a fascinating laboratory for experimenting with how objects interact with the nature.
